Australians have been left behind and the absence of true representation to speak on basic issues remain at critical levels. Our mission is to confront these challenges, ensuring every community member has a voice in shaping the policies that affect their everyday lives.

The issues have never been more pressing

When the Labor Party campaigned in the 2022 election, they promised that the cost of living would improve under their government, asserting it would be easier than under a Liberal Government. However, these promises have not been met, and people are struggling with basic necessities. Community Basics is an entity that supports independent candidates who truly represent their constituents on core community issues to make a difference. Our mission is to foster a political landscape where transparency, accountability, and genuine representation are paramount.
